We are getting the chance to write letters to our loved ones or someone we care about. We are getting the chance to tell someone about a book character we love. Stay tuned for some amazing letters. They don't know this yet, but they will be mailing one of these letters out to someone, therefore if your student is writing to someone they might come home and ask for their address. All I ask is that you write that down in their agenda so they can have it when they come home next week asking for this information on Wednesday. Reading: We are reading about character changes across a series. Your student is reading a 'just-right' book on a book character with at least 4-6 peers. Then at the end of reading each day, they discuss what they know and notice about their characters. Science: Last week, we got the chance to get our hands dirty and plant seeds.
